Robeson Library has been finding new ways to encourage students to engage with the library, explore our spaces, and get to know our staff and faculty.
Our first-ever Robeson Library Duck Hunt, held September 25 to October 2, was a huge success! More than 175 students participated, searching for small ducks hidden throughout the library. Once they found a duck, students brought it to the circulation desk to claim a small prize. We even introduced a new duck mascot to help promote the event!
Beyond the fun, the duck hunt encouraged students to explore different areas of the library, interact with staff, and see Robeson as more than a place to study or find resources. It is also a place to connect and be part of the campus community.
Next up: Guess the Number of Candy Corn, a “Would You Rather?” board, and Fall Bingo. We hope to keep finding creative ways to engage our students and make Robeson a welcoming and fun place to learn, connect, and build community.
